How do you see the hype about BCS cadre in Bangladesh?

 .

The text will be quite large.

What is the reason for so much hype in government jobs?  Let me make a few points

 1.  Power: Money is in many other jobs, but the power of special admin, police or tax cadre in cadre service is not found in any other job in Bangladesh.  A sense of security works when I get this job among people that no one can do anything to me.

 2.  Job Guarantee: Once you enter, no one will be able to remove you from the job.  The highest OSD you can do, you will continue to get paid.  This certainty is low in the private sector.

 3.  Facilities: Full-time car facility, various loans, VIP treatment, scholarships for study, these are there, along with people will respect, get a price in the wedding market, appreciation will increase in the circle of friends.

Now let me tell you where the fault is.

 1.  Nowhere else in the world, except in this subcontinent, is there such a horrible level of devotion to government servants, they are seen as public servants who are paid by the people\"s tax money and are there to serve them.  If we want to find a reason to worship the gods here, we have to go back to the British period, when the British officers were like gods to the public.  The British are gone, that idea remains.  We forget that the name of the job is Civil \"Service\".  In other words, it is their job to serve us, but when you look at them, it seems that we are there for their service.

 2.  Young people flocking to this cadre service in the lure of this unusual "honor" is not what was supposed to happen.  The main reason for coming into service should have been to serve the country, to improve the bureaucracy.  Instead, now everyone wants to come to the service to arrange their own sugarcane.  What kind of service would you expect from those who will enter the service with this mentality?  Think about what they are thinking about entering the service!

 3.  There is no way to deny that the country\"s private sector is still underdeveloped.  Even students studying in demanding subjects like CSE, EEE, IT of a good university often struggle to get the job they want.  If they have brains, then they will want to take a good chance, that\"s why they leave their field and shift here.

 4.  Due to this shifting, there is a shortage of quality STEM graduates in the country who can work in their own field.  One group is going abroad, another group is going to BCS, the work of the country is to bring people from China and India with more money.

So understand that the problem is multidimensional.  But the result is that we are getting a new generation who are becoming more proficient at memorization rather than analytical power.  Those who are more interested in reading MP3 than in Science, Technology, Philosophy or Economics, and our universities are equally encouraging it.  Other universities proudly proclaimed who won the Nobel, how many of us got the BCS.  A few days ago, the VC of BUET went as the chief guest at the reception of the new BUETAN cadres, I don\"t know why a VC would go to such an event.

Many may come to argue, let me know in advance for their knowledge, both my parents are working at the highest level of the admin cadre, I have been in the government colony all my life, I have been among these cadres.  So the points I said, without knowing or understanding, I said looking around.  Thanks.
