Why isn’t pornography stopping in Bangladesh

 The High Court issued the order at the end of 18 to shut down all pornography websites in Bangladesh.

 Although there have been several attempts to block porn websites in the country, it has not been possible to block these sites completely.  Although it was closed for a while, later the sites became active.

 Lack of technical capability can also be a big reason behind not being able to shut down porn sites

 Porn sites cannot be technically shut down.  However, it may be possible to close 90 percent.

 Four years ago, the government ordered the closure of about 600 porn sites.  This announcement was implemented quickly by those concerned at that time.  At the time, Internet service providers said 90 percent of the sites had been shut down.  The remaining 10 percent of sites on the list took time to shut down because some sites were hosted in the cloud.  As a result, they have had to be shut down over time.  It was seen that one IP was shut down, then the site was launched through another IP. Due to various technical reasons, it can never be completely successful to shut down a porn site.

 Even then the process continues.  After shutting down various harmful websites, especially gambling and porn sites, they are being re-launched through VPN.  Even after the gambling website has been shut down many times, it can be seen live.  However, more than 20,000 pornographic websites have been blocked so far.

 The police do not have the opportunity to notice these in great detail in the thousands of cyber cafes in the neighborhood.  If you want to monitor them, you have to stop the police from catching thieves and robbers.

 Mobile and internet have given people a lot of opportunities.  And teenagers and young people are more users.  In this case, parents must be aware.

 Let me tell you an experience I had when I was working in the field.  I watched a young boy from the village pay close attention to their own computer composing shop and stood back.  He was so engrossed in watching the activities of animals and women that I did not notice.  The computer was seized.  The boy was taken into custody.  The guardian came.  It seemed to me that this was not a serious matter for him.  Nowadays, you can check the mobile of a boy or a girl - if you remember the level of porn that you will get in 90 mobiles when you eat for three days, the food will not come down your throat.  Everything is no longer with the police and the administration.  There is no time to think about the direction this society is taking without the rule of parents, elder brothers and sisters!
