What foods did Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) eat?

The food that the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ate was the healthiest and most nutritious. In today\"s scientific research, the abstract is the quality of the food of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and its necessity for the human body. The following is a brief discussion of some of the food of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

Cheese: It is narrated from Abdullah bin Omar that some cheese was brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the battle of Tabuk. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited Bismillah and cut them with a knife and ate some food. (Abu Dawood: 3619)


Butter: Narrated from Ibn Bisr al-Muslimeen, they both said, ‘Once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to our house. We serve butter and dates in front of him. He liked butter and dates. (Tirmidhi: 1843)


Sweets and Honey: Narrated Ayesha (RA), she said, ‘The Prophet (SAW) used to like sweets and honey. (Bukhari, 5115; Muslim, 2695) In another hadith of Bukhari Sharif, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, \"Honey is the best medicine. ’(5359)


Ghee-coated bread: Narrated Abdullah bin Omar: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) once said, “If we had white bread made of brown wheat and fried in ghee, we would eat them.” He brought bread. (Ibn Majah: 3340)


Milk: Narrated Anas: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘When I prayed two rak’ahs in the Holy House on the night of Miraj, Jibraeel (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) placed two separate containers of wine and milk in front of me. I choose the milk jug. Gabriel (pbuh) said, ‘You have chosen the real and innate thing. (Bukhari: 3164, Tirmidhi, 213)


Dates: Narrated Abdullah bin Salam: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) placing a date on a piece of barley bread. Then he said, ‘This is the salon-spice. (Abu Dawood: 3630) In another hadith, the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘In a house where there are no dates, there is no food. Even the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) advised the mother to eat dates after childbirth.


Raisins: Narrated from Ibn Abbas, he said, ‘Raisins were soaked for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he drank them. (Muslim)


Sarid: Narrated from Ibn Abbas (RA), ‘Sarid of bread and Sarid of Hayes were very dear to the Prophet (SAW). (Abu Dawood: 363) Sarid is a special dish made of bread soaked in meat broth. Hayes is a food made jointly with butter, ghee and dates.


Vinegar: Jabir (ra) said, ‘The Prophet (saas) wished salon to his family. They say we have nothing but vinegar. When they were brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him), he began to eat from them. Then he said, ‘Vinegar is such a good salon! How good a vinegar is! ”Hazrat Jabir (ra) said,“ From that day I started liking vinegar. (Muslim: 2051)


Watermelon and Cucumber: It is narrated from Ayesha that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to eat ‘ratab’ or (ripe-fresh) dates with watermelon. (Bukhari: 5134, Tirmidhi: 1844) Narrated from Abdullah Ibn Jafar (RA), I saw the Prophet (SAW) eating ‘Ratab’ with cucumber. (Muslim: 3606)


Rabbit meat: Narrated Anas Ibn Malik: A rabbit jumped past us at a place called Marruz Zahran. Seeing the scene, our companions chase the rabbit, but they come back tired and unable to catch it. But I chased and grabbed it and brought it to Hazrat Abu Talhar. He slaughtered it at a place called Marwa. Then send the thighs and buttocks of the rabbit with me to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ate them. He was asked, "Did the Prophet eat it?" He accepted. (Bukhari: 2433)


Khasir Paya: Narrated from Ayesha (RA), she said, ‘We used to cook small Khasir Paya. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to eat them even 15 days after the sacrifice. (Bukhari: 5122)
